Located in a private complex, these apartments offer the comfort of suburban housing with a fantastic location just outside Cambridge. Each apartment comprises 2 en-suite bedrooms and sleeps a maximum of 6 people. Each bedroom offers twin or double beds, and there is a pull-out sofa bed in the living areas. The bedrooms are spacious and decorative, and the luxurious en-suite bathrooms include an ultra-modern walk-in shower. The apartments are well-lit and spacious, each designed in a modern contemporary style with minimalistic elements to complement the polished wooden flooring.

The living areas offer large, comfortable seating arrangements and a flat screen TV, alongside a dining table/breakfast bar large enough for all guests to enjoy a meal. Each apartment includes a clean and fully-equipped kitchen with an oven, a microwave, and a dishwasher, along with all necessary cutlery and utensils for any long or short-term stay.

Grand Central Apartments come with one guaranteed parking spot per apartment in a secure, underground car park. Please note, the ground floor apartments are wheelchair-accessible; however, the remainder are only accessible via stairs.

The apartments are located a short walk from Cambridge Train Station, making them ideal for short-stay visitors or overnight stops. The unique and vibrant city of Cambridge is a 30-minute walk, or there is a bus stop offering frequent travel into the city just a 2-minute walk away. Famed for its countless tourist attractions such as museums, cathedrals and theatres, Cambridge offers something for everyone.

Restaurants:

• Rocker's Steak House is only a five-minute walk from the property. It is an American-style steakhouse, whose atmosphere is very good and the staff maintain high standards.
• Nando's Cambridge is a chicken restaurant, famous for its spicy chilli sauce. The food this restaurant serves is always excellent and healthy, and are always consistent in their quality.
• Taj Tandoori is for lovers of Indian cuisine, and as such it never fails or disappoints. A great place for dining as well as takeaway options, Taj Tandoori is whatever you expect from a top-notch restaurant.
• Just next to Taj Tandoori, you will have Rock Of Virtue Eat Out, a Jamaican restaurant with fantastic flavours. Its most popular dishes are jerk chickens with lovely tastes and reasonable prices.
• But nothing may top Five Guys Cambridge Leisure Park, Hamburger restaurant, with gorgeous burgers and tasty milkshakes. It is also very close, being just 2 minutes from the property by car.

Parks:

If you only walk a few minutes from Grand Central Apartments, you will see the Dragon Park, a small playground suitable for children’s entertainment. It also has some benches that can be used for picnicking. 

The famous Cambridge University Botanic Garden is also only 4 minutes away. This place is one of the major attractions of the city, and its greenhouses are quite a spectacle, with beautiful flowers and plants. 

If you go a bit further east toward Cherry Hinton, you will see Cherry Hinton Hall Park, Skate Plaza, and Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite, in very close proximity to each other.

Grand Central Apartments’ location is near the city centre, which makes it a great starting point to see all the attractions in Cambridge.

• Cambridge Central Mosque is more than a simple place of worship for Muslims. This newly designed house of worship is the first eco-friendly mosque around Europe, and its architecture has tried to keep the Islamic look and feel while adding hues of environmental design. In short, it is a wonderful site to visit for both Muslim worshippers and art enthusiasts.
• Built in Gothic style, St Andrew the Great Church is another religious site whose design alone is a major attraction. This conservative Evangelical church is still active and receives congregations. It is a site for Sunday sermons and is visited mostly by families and students.
• Great St Mary's, the University Church is a much older church and truly a masterpiece of perpendicular gothic art. Its top tower from outside has a majestic look, and if you climb it, you will have a sublime view of the whole cambridge under your feet. To do that, you will need to go through a narrow spiral staircase, which is not only a great workout but also fun.
• The antique and art museum of the Fitzwilliam Museum on Trumpington Street is another top attraction for art lovers. The amazing collections of medals, applied arts and antiques include works from all over the world and from different times in history. 
• Cambridge Science Centre is a science museum with interactive exhibitions and workshops. The visit to this centre is one of the most informative and fun experiences any visitor can have.
